We're getting our first reports of other groups and individuals around Scotland signing up to do their DofE Diamond Challenge.
We got wind via Twitter that all of Lathallan's Senior School are going to be climbing Ben Nevis in June for their DofE Challenge.
It's an incredible feat for everyone to commit to and we're going to be cheering them on and hopefully hearing about their progress along the way.
If you have signed up to do your DofE Challenge we want to hear from you! What inspired you? What is your Challenge?
Send it on to Scotland@DofE.org, or drop us a note on Facebook or Twitter #DofEChallenge.

The Challenge Reality
It's been over a week now since we launched our DofE Challenge. On the whole, everyone is still feeling ambitious, but some of us are beginning to question if maybe it'll be more like this:
We're working towards it though. In a couple of weeks we're hoping to have our first canoe training - getting in the boats for our staff away days.
Have any of you signed up for your Challenge yet? If yes, we want to hear about it!! Get in touch via the comments below or #DofEChallenge on Twitter. Don't forget that you can sign up for your Challenge from now all the way through next year at www.DofEDiamondChallenge.org.

The route on film
When we all first heard what Barry and Alex were planning there were some jaws that hit the floor. We thought you might like to hear the ambitious plan from the horses' mouths (so to speak).

Meet the team: Bec & Ainsley
In the lead up to our Challenge we're going to be introducing you to the DofE Scotland team. We want you to be able to get to know us and hear a bit about how we're getting ready for the Challenge. Mostly we're feeling pretty daunted, so if you can help encourage us that'd be great! Below the video there's more about how to get in touch.
First up are Bec and Ainsley. They both work from home so it's nice for us in the office to hear what they're up to for training and what they're looking forward to. We hope that you are interested in what they think of the Challenge too, so have a watch here...

Our Challenge starts here
We're launching the DofE Diamond Challenge today. The Challenge is a year-long fundraising activity to raise money for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Charity and mark its Diamond Anniversary. Throughout 2016 anyone and everyone will be asked to ‘choose a challenge’ from three DofE-inspired themes: learn a skill, embark on an adventure or conquer a personal challenge, and raise a minimum of £60 (for 60 years) for the Charity.
This is the DofE Scotland team's Challenge and it's a biggie!
Feeling inspired? You can sign up for your own Challenge at www.DofEDiamondChallenge.org
